How to Join Street Spirits
Street Spirits always welcomes new members. Rehearsals are held every Thursday at 6:00 PM at YAP Friends 1148 7th Ave (across from city hall). At rehearsal participants learn acting and play creation skills and work on upcoming projects. There are no fees for joining Street Spirits. It is free. Becoming an actual member of the company requires that you show up for at least four rehearsals. As a member you can get involved in using theatre to make the world a better place by helping to create new plays, by performing and, when you are more experienced, by taking part in teaching workshops. We do a couple of performances each month, sometimes more. We frequently travel to perform in other communities. Members can also design and create their own theatrical events with support from the group if they wish to do so. Come check it out.

I’m a Ugandan social worker and i was impressed with your approach to social problems of which many are amongst the slum i work and leave in every day, for the last 10months i ve been trying to change the lives of 50kids through traditional music dance and drama, you seem far away but near because of the shared problem and approach we both use i would like to share both with you guys
